McGregor Mixed Pairs

The East District is holding its McGregor Cup for Mixed Pairs on the evening of Friday November 21st 2025 at 18.45 at the New Melville Bridge Club, 1 Pinkhill, Edinburgh EH12 7BA.

We expect to play around 24 - 27 boards starting at 18.45 and finishing about 22.15 after which there will be time to discuss some of the hands if you so wish.

The entry fee will be £15 per pair payable by credit/debit card at the time of entry on our website at https://www.sbueast.org.uk/

Please make sure that once you make the payment, that you click on the ‘process registration’ button which ensures that you get an email receipt for your entry, a copy goes to the convener, and your names appear on the list of entrants.

Need to cancel?

If you no longer wish to play in an event, you can use the Cancellation Link which is included in your emailed entry receipt, so hang on to that.

If you need to change your lineup, please contact the convener directly (as shown on the event details page). You could also cancel and re-enter.

General Notes

Please take care when entering your email address - we use this to contact you about the event. You may if you wish add your contact telephone number - if you are adding your name to an event waiting list, please do this so we can get in touch as soon as a space becomes available.

Players should endeavour to arrive at the venue or be in position online at least 15 minutes before the start of the event – anyone unable to attend should make every effort to inform the Convener.

BBO Competitions

For most BBO events you simply register in BBO as usual, making sure you allow enough time. You must also register your BBO user name in MEMPAD or you won't be able to play.

ReCAPTCHA error?

If you get this error you will need to refresh the registration page and may have to re-enter your information. Payment is separate and unaffected - if you have already paid just tick the "I have paid" box before submitting (do not try to pay twice!). The ReCAPTCHA module protects us from automated spam but very occasionally finds something to complain about in a normal entry.
