Events with a red date are not currently scheduled.

These are the East District competitions which have been running in some cases from 1933.  Trophies are awarded at the AGM for these competitions.

Allan Flitch Pairs

The Allan Fitch competition for couples will take place on 15th February 2026 (please note the new date!).

Start time is 1pm, and the entry fee is £20 per pair which includes afternoon tea around 3pm.

Need to cancel?

If you no longer wish to play in an event, you can use the Cancellation Link which is included in your emailed entry receipt, so hang on to that.

If you need to change your lineup, please contact the convener directly (as shown on the event details page).  You could also cancel and re-enter.

General Notes

Please take care when entering your email address - we use this to contact you about the event.  You may if you wish add your contact telephone number - if you are adding your name to an event waiting list, please do this so we can get in touch as soon as a space becomes available.

Players should endeavour to arrive at the venue or be in position online at least 15 minutes before the start of the event – anyone unable to attend should make every effort to inform the Convener. 

BBO Competitions

For most BBO events you simply register in BBO as usual, making sure you allow enough time.  You must also register your BBO user name in MEMPAD or you won't be able to play.

ReCAPTCHA error?

If you get this error you will need to refresh the registration page and may have to re-enter your information.  Payment is separate and unaffected - if you have already paid just tick the "I have paid" box before submitting (do not try to pay twice!).  The ReCAPTCHA module protects us from automated spam but very occasionally finds something to complain about in a normal entry.
